*sigh*...it's raining...again. We'll all be living in swampland soon methinks. Actually, I love the rain. I just worry a bit since the seeping I had a couple of summers ago. The past 2 years have been fine but I do need to look into getting the gutters replaced soon. Deck work as well. Ugh. I just am so tired of having to be the one to make sure everything gets fixed/updated/repaired. Some days I really want someone else to deal with all of this stuff. I loved that about hubby; he was good all sorts of minor house repairs and taking the time to research people to do work on the house if need be. Blech. I just want $20k to pop into my bank account so I can just call whomever to come fix everything and be done with it. I am really good at procrastinating for starters and then wanting to spend my $$ on other things. *sigh*
My family has survived round 1 of Irene. Seems round 2 will be of lesser impact so all is well. Except the water. If ever one contemplates beauty in power...or power in beauty...water definitely is both.

You must have an insecurity complex, girl. You ain't no goddess. You're a sinfull mortal and you'll croak - hate to break it to ya, miss gorgeous; however, if you achieve Heaven, all your worries shall be over. Your choice, babe. Your demise. I know what I'm striving for. God blessa youse -Fr. Sarducci, ol SNL
Now aren't you a cheery one. Thanks for sharing though. Everyone is entitled to their own perception of what life is; glad you're so willing to share and poke into other people's backyards. But don't you think you're a bit off-topic here? Why don't you bless those that were unfortunate to have suffered during the thrall of Irene instead?
So, unless you have something to say that's truly constructive, why don't you move along. Personally whatever you're striving for doesn't concern me nor do I have any interest. Of course you can comment away all you wish and I can respond to them, delete them or what have you but why don't you expend your energy elsewhere.
